Our Insiders' Article

The alphabet has 26 letters. With this in mind, the Pavillon des Lettres transformed the old 3 star hotel into a cozy 26 room luxurious hotel. Each room is associated to an alphabet letter (and not a number like almost all the hotels), and each letter to a classic author, from Hans Christian Andersen to Emile Zola.

Be it the superior rooms, deluxe rooms or junior suites, all are decorated with elements taken from the literary world. An excerpt from a novel by the author that gave the name to the room serves as decoration for that particular room. In this sense, each room is unique.

The average price of the superior rooms is 300€, but this varies greatly depending on the season.

All the rooms of the Pavillon des Lettres are equipped with the modern comfort of a 4 star hotel. The junior suites even have a small terrace to enjoy the sun on beautiful summer days.

Breakfast is served on the ground floor, in a very cozy place by the fireplace in winter, which is also a perfect place to sit down and enjoy a good book at any time of the day. No other meals are served at the hotel, but there are many recommended restaurants in the area, especially the ZO opposite the Pavillon des Lettres.

The hotel has also adopted the Honesty Bar formula, where guests are invited to pour themselves a glass of their favorite drink.

The Pavillon des Lettres offers in-room massages, but only in the suites, due to the lack of space in the other room categories. But for those looking to keep fit, you can always go for a morning jogging on the green alleyways of the lower part of the Champs-Elysées, between Concorde and the Petit Palais.

The welcoming and professional concierge service will gladly take care of your reservations and assist you in any way possible.

Room Service is available 24/7.

The Pavillon des Lettres tries to blend into the cultural life of Paris. Many artists or photographers are therefore put in the spotlight by the hotel as pictures or other artistic works are hung in the public parts of the hotel. Be sure to take the stairs in order to catch a glimpse of some wonderful artistic creations.

The Pavillon des Lettres might only be 5 minutes away by foot from the Champs-Elysées, it is located in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. This, as well as nearby offices or administrative areas, has attracted many business travelers as well. But whether you are the literary type or not, you will surely enjoy the elegance, charm and welcome of the Pavillon des Lettres.
