Our Insiders' Article

5 suites, each with a different ambiance and decoration. 2 Junior Suites (35m² / 376 sq ft at €390) with a garden view, 2 Superior Junior Suites (45m² / 485 sq ft at €490) with open bathroom and living room and 1 deluxe suite (85m² / 915 sq ft at €590) on the top floor with beautiful view on Paris.

All rooms are equipped with mini bar, TV, safety box, Ipod dock and all the standard amenities.

Each room was decorated by a different designer. Famous interior designers such as Philippe Mayaux, Martine Aballéa or Natasha Lesueur have contributed to the comfort and elegance of each room, making them all unique in their own way.

Food & Beverage

The Restaurant is open Wednesday through Saturday for dinner only, and serves a brunch on Sundays at noon and 2:30pm (buffet for €38). Meals can be taken outside in the garden or inside in either the small romantic “hunting” room or the bigger main dining hall. The service can sometimes be slow, but the food and setting is truly worth the occasional wait. Breakfast is served to the guests every morning from 8 to 11am.

The Bar is also open Wednesday through Sunday at 5pm, and offers an interesting list of in-house cocktail creations using fresh ingredients.

For lunch or dinner, Marcel is right around the corner and offers great tasting American cuisine. Marcel is also recommended by l’Hôtel Particulier Montmartre.

Massage: An à la carte in-suite massage and treatment selection is available, done by professionals coming from the neighboring 5 star hotels. Prior reservation is needed.

Limousine: For airport transfers or for a visit of Paris, a car with chauffeur service is available and can be reserved 24h in advance.

Leisure: The guests of the hotel can play Petanque on the special private petanque area next to the hotel. Petanque is a typical French game similar to bocce.

Before becoming a hotel, this mansion (“hôtel particulier”) was built for one of the members of the Hermès family. It was later purchased by Frédéric Comtet and turned into an intimate 5 suite hotel in 2007. In 2011, his son and current hotel manager Oscar decided to rearrange the hotel and add a restaurant, with seating inside and outside in the beautiful lush garden of the property. The “home” feeling of l’Hôtel Particulier Montmartre is given by the small details. For example, Oscar is a bee keeper and the 100% natural honey served for breakfast comes from his own bees. There are also 2 chickens freely wandering in the garden, and their eggs are also used for morning omelettes!

Parisianist Fun Fact: A lot of international stars chose to stay at l’Hôtel Particulier Montmartre for its intimacy, quiet surrounding and friendly service. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have stayed in the Deluxe Suite, and Tom Hanks and Pierce Brosnan have been spotted enjoying a cocktail at the bar.
