Who is it for?

Paris for you

Why you will love it?

Located in the heart of the 16th arrondissement, a district that only becomes alive during the Roland Garros tennis tournament or the rugby matches of the local Stade Français team, Les Deux Stations brings a spark of fun and animation in this otherwise very calm neighborhood. Since 1912, the owners have followed one another, but the ambiance and menu have remained the same, which is truly a delight.

Our Insiders' Article

Since 1912, the owners of Les Deux Stations have followed one another, but they all had 2 things in common: Auvergne, a region in the East of France, and the will to keep the early 1900’s bistro look and feel of the restaurant. So when the current owners decided to invest in this lively restaurant, the renovation budget was very low as they kept a great deal of the old decoration. The result is convincing and pleasant, giving a special atmosphere to this authentic place.

Les Deux Stations’ cuisine might not be gastronomic, but it is truly authentic. The restaurant serves traditional Parisian dishes such as veal olives, andouillette (small sausage made of chitterlings) or beef tartar. The products are tasty, the cooking is right, and the prices remain very decent. As for wine, there are a lot of known and lesser known references, which makes it suitable for all budgets.

There are a lot of regular customers at Les Deux Stations. If, for some reason, reservations haven’t been made for a seat on the terrace, don’t walk away! Although a lot more lively and noisy than the outside terrace, the inner dining hall is also a great alternative, especially when having a meal with a group of friends. Here, conversations mingle and laughter spreads like wild fire, creating a real popular bistro ambiance, which is quite surprising for the posh 16th arrondissement. The service is laid back and the waiters are friendly. Truth be told, it’s always nice to go to Les Deux Stations.

The decor is exactly what you would expect from a real Parisian bistro: an old register on the counter, checkered table cloth, wooden chairs… a feeling of positive nostalgia floats in the air. A few black and white pictures of the old owners of Les Deux Stations hang on the walls, which bring the clientele to a different time: the Eternal Paris seen on old postcards. The plate glass windows date back to the 1950’s and the stone floor is authentic, just like the large mirrors in the dining hall. The traditionnel décor only justifies a stop  to Les Deux Stations.

If you are in the 16th arrondissement and you want to discover classic French cuisine without ripping your wallet apart, head towards Les Deux Stations. Be it the menu, the ambiance or the décor, it’s difficult to find an even more traditional Parisian bistro. This address is therefore a recommended restaurant for those who wish to plunge in the depth of Parisian bistro tradition.
