Why you will love it?

La Petite Maison de Nicole (Nicole's Little House) is a critically-acclaimed restaurant that originated in Nice mixing elegance and bon vivre. But every night in Paris you can find a little bit of that southern French charm floating in the air as the renowned restaurant Le Fouquet's transforms a wing of the building into the image of La Petite Maison de Nicole, maintaining the site's historic charm while offering a more relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Just like in Nice.

Our Insiders' Article

Located off of the Promenade des Anglais in Nice, La Petite Maison de Nicole has become a great success thanks to its high-quality food and relaxed environment. In light of this success, it's no surprise  that the Parisian Palace Le Fouquet's Barrière wanted to join forces with this southern French institution. La Petite Maison de Nicole proposes an alternative to the establishment's other restaurants (Restaurant Fouquet's and le Diane), that is both refined and laid-back. Each night in a section of Le Fouquet's, the decor is replaced and the tables inspire the breeze of the Mediterranean. Who would have guessed that a Parisian Palace is the place to get your little fix of Nice?

The menu also contributes to the laid-back, friendly feeling at La Petite Maison de Nicole. Here, only the best of the dishes from southern France are served. The farcis niçois (Nice's traditional stuffed vegetables) and the melon au jambon are excellent appetizers. For the main dish the fillet of sea bass comes with a mouthwatering sauce, and if you happen to be in the mood to share, the free-range stuffed chicken with foie gras is highly recommended. Finally, for dessert, the Tiramisu Super lives up to its name and the chocolate fondant is quite simply delicious. A sheer delight for the taste buds. The average three-course meal with a glass of wine costs around €120.

Too often, people who aren't familiar with upscale restaurants at Parisian Palaces automatically rule them out. So for those with “Parisian-Palace phobia”, Fouquet's seemed out of reach. The hotel needed something fresh, a different kind of restaurant that didn't intimidate but all the while had quality service and the best ingredients. This was where La Petite Maison de Nicole came in. Here, the light-hearted ambiance and remixed hit tunes lilting in the background are sure to set everyone at ease, and will undoubtedly lead to laughter and animated conversations with the neighbors at the table next to you. On saturday nights, a live band performs classic hits while walking in the restaurant going from table to table.

When you walk into La Petite Maison de Nicole on Avenue George V you know you're at Fouquet's, but you might very well have your doubts. A wing of this legendary Parisian restaurant is completely transformed every night into something more relaxed, young and accessible. The pictures and other decorations that hang on the walls during the day are replaced with more modern objects, all while maintaining the Mediterranean flair and the historic elegance of the space. It's by this logic that a portrait of Marilyn Monroe hangs over a table dressed in white and decorated with peppers and spices. Even though La Petite Maison de Nicole faces the Champs-Elysées and Louis Vuitton, you feel elsewhere. And boy, does that feel good!

La Petite Maison de Nicole is the perfect mix of elegance and informality. The restaurant's accessibility makes it very attractive for a variety of occasions. It's the perfect place to celebrate with friends or to have a romantic dinner, minus the intimidating social etiquette at a fancy restaurant. But for the more classic diner who delights in all the traditional table customs and impeccable service, Le Fouquet's or Le Diane may be a better fit.
