With a few very successful cocktail bars in Paris (Experimental Cocktail Club, Curio Parlour…) Romée de Goriainoff, Olivier Bon and Pierre-Charles Cros wanted to extend their offer to their clients by opening a restaurant. But not just any restaurant… It would have to be a trendy and upscale restaurant, always in accordance with the Experimental Group’s philosophy of bringing the best quality in their service and products. In the Les Halles neighborhood, the 3 business partners finally found a suitable venue and opened the Beef Club in March 2012.

Food & Drink

Meat lovers have tasted great meats from all over the world, including the world famous Argentinian meat considered as one of the best and most tender, but the judgment is final: The British meat coming from the Yorkshire farms of Tim Wilson is simply the best. And that is exactly what the Experimental Group needed to hear before importing the meat from the man behind UK’s famed “Ginger Pig”. On the menu, there are 10 side dishes to complement your meat of choice, as well as 5 sauces. And for those who come to the Beef Club but don’t really feel like eating beef, a fish, a lobster and pork ribs dishes are also available. The wine list boasts 200 references.

Parisianist Fun Fact: for the best tasting meat, it has to be matured for several weeks in large refrigerators. These refrigerators are located below the Fish Club and Ballroom cocktail bar.


Good steakhouses always have a cozy and warm ambiance, and the Beef Club does not fail to that rule. In fact, in some ways, it surpasses this reality as it also has a small terrace to enjoy the late evening sun in summer. With its high end notoriety and “cool” image, the Beef Club draws a crowd of French and international customers, mainly “cool” hunters and hipsters in the know that want to taste some great meat. After the meal, there is always the possibility to head down the stairs and have a drink or two at the Ballroom cocktail club.


Always drawing a fine line between creating a new and original décor and keeping the Experimental Group’s decorative signature touch, the Group’s acclaimed designer Dorothée Meilizchon has once again set the standards high. There are a lot of traditional French steakhouses in France, but they are mostly decorated with items bought of a second hand market or a flea market. This is precisely what Dorothée wanted to avoid, in order to distinguish the Beef Club from other steakhouses. The modern touches within an anglo-saxon room make this venue quite unusual, as well as trendy and chic, but always very welcoming.


The Beef Club had slowly but surely become a reference in Paris when it comes to meat. The quality of the food, the professional service and the great friendly atmosphere have turned the Beef Club into one of Paris’s best steakhouses, having attracted many famed people, both French and International.
