On Sunday June 21, 2015, both professional and amateur musicians will hit the streets of Paris and play music for free until the end of the night. And what better way to celebrate summer’s arrival then by clapping and singing along. In order to fully enjoy this major event, check out our top 10 best places to celebrate the Fete de la Musique – Music Day: there will surely be something you will love, and it’s all free!


If you feel like hearing some of the most popular French pop rock bands, head out to Place de la République. Skip The Use, Jeanne Added, Tha Trickaz, Marina Kaye and ALB will be rocking the night away.

One of the main Fete de la Musique – Music Day events will be taking place on the Place Denfert-Rochereau (south of Paris). New French talents like Isaac Delusion, Bigflo & Oli, Smokey Joy & the Kid and Fuzeta will be performing live.

Parc Floral

The Paris Jazz Festival will be help in the Parc Floral from June 7th to July 26th. For the Fete de la Musique – Music Day, spotlights will be on Japan, with a spectacular performance by the taïko drums of Tokyo.
